Geocaching

Hi all,

I’m interested to see if anyone has been using their S7 to geocache at all? I’ve never actually been geocaching but it’s something I keep telling myself I’m gonna take the kids out to do and now I have the Suunto thought I’d give it a go.

Primarially been looking at geocaching.com and found spots around me, I’ve downloaded the gpx file and tried to import it but the Suunto app says it’s the wrong format! I’ve tried using a tool which converts a Google Maps location into a gpx but again, I can’t get this to work as it says the location is not a Google Maps address?

Does anyone have a simple way (for someone that has no clue) on how to get the file from geocaching.com into the Suunto app please?

@Pete-Nevard the gpx from geocaching is a list of 1 or more discrete positions.
Suunto App reads tracks (optionally with embedded waypoints).
I would look out for other apps to do this - the built in Suunto App is for activity tracking.
