Scratches and minor damages
-
Hi again! now a question for all the other users (again destroying your beautiful languaje…):
I’m using a glass protector in the watch and it is doing its work very well (of topic: I recomend you to buy the “Suunto 9 protectors” instead of those for the Suunto 7, they have the same size and are much cheaper) BUT I have some minor scratches in the metal bezel and I would know if you have found any way to minimize and/or disimulate them.How are your watches ageing?

@qwerty1234 My approach to this:
“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.” - Kahlil Gibran

@johann-fuehrer same here. Now my S5 is unique

I’m still waiting for my screen protectors to arrive and just noticed ive got a small scratch on the screen already (it’s just in the black outer rim part) so gonna try some polywatch on it or toothpaste to try and get it out.
To be honest, I haven’t been all that impressed with the DLC coating, it does appear to chip off much easier that some other DLC coated watches I’ve had… So much so I was contemplating to see if I could remove it all and just have a silver bezel?

Hi, could you upload a picture of your damages? I would like to see how are getting older our suuntos and what to expect after some time, since mine has only two months and just have a minor scratch in the bezel due to an “enconter” with a streetlight.
