SportsTracker App & S7 Workout Sync
-
As I do a mixture of gym work and running, I have started to use a heart rate chest monitor with the sportstracker app to get an accurate HR reading and synchronise my workout to the Suunto app (through Sportstracker app). It would be good if the S7 reflects these workouts on the watch, i.e. in the log and tiles. At least this provides a workaround whilst no HR belt support exists on the S7.

sportstracker
i can’t answer that question, but can you tell me little bit more about the sportstracker app?
how is it compared to built in suunto app? can you also map buttons to pause/resume/next lapt, etc? can it sync with strava? can you customize data fields? does it drain more battery than suunto app (with 10s/fuse it took 7% for 1 hour run)
thanks -
@masi0 - for a workout, you can pause and resume a workout. I should say I use this on my phone for weights workouts. If you have installed it on your S7, then you can also pause, re-start from the watch. . As far as I know, the Sportstracker app and Suunto App share the same data at the back. Hence, if Strava is set-up in the Suunto app, then it will push to Strava when you do a workout in Sportstracker. The WearOS Sposrtstracker is not really comparable to the Suunto App on the S7.
