      Hello,
I’m wondering if my Suunto Ambit 2 also takes the paused times into consideration when it calculates the average values. This is of special interest for me when it comes to the speed when cycling. I have to stop sometimes due to traffic lights and stuff and there are always sharp descents in the speed due to the breaking. The watch auto-pauses then. But when I look at the records, the speed seems some km/h lower than I’d have expected (the main view when I’m cycling also shows the speed). Do you have any ideas how this is possible and how I could fix that?

@Steradiant this is how it should work.

        • Cycling -> stopping -> everything until autopause kicks in is counted towards AVG.
        • During the pause nothing contributes towards AVG

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I see. So I guess the sharp descents when stopping are messing with the average then. Is there any possibility to get rid of them? E.g. set the auto-pause threshold to a higher value?

@Steradiant no I don’t think it’s possible. The best thing todo is just manually pause.
