      Hello
I have just purchased a used Ambit3 which had runs logged from previous owner
I cannot figure out how to delete all of his activities in one go, either on a web interface or on the phone app (or the watch for that matter)
      Any idea?
      Thanks

        You can’t atm

By the way, you don’t need it too, at least in the watch

        SVTS - 2.40.38
        SSSWHR BARO Amber - 2.8.32
        Samsung A5 2016 - Android 7.0
        Samsung A33 2022 - Android 14 - One UI 6.1
        Suunto App Android 5.3.5 beta
Suunto App IOs 2.46.0 (19453) beta on MBP M1

I guess that if you want to get rid of everything from the previous owner on the watch you can do a factory reset.

I tried factory reset. I think it means to force a firmware update?

Also, I want to batch delete from the app mostly which is my online profile. Deleting one by one there is time consuming

How many activities there were? A3P logbook can hold about 40h hours, so it’s like 30 … 70 runs?
After forcing firmware update you could just start over with a clean Suunto App account.

But getting rid of those activities shouldn’t take more than few minutes:
head over to https://www.sports-tracker.com/diary/workout-list , log in with your Suunto App credentials, open first set of activities in new tabs (ctrl+click) and go through Edit -> Delete, it asks for confirmation but <space> will do, close current tab with ctrl+w.

If you are familiar with some javascript and your browser’s developer tools, crafting a batch delete is not too complicated. But it probably takes at least few more minutes than deleting those activities manually.

You can ask support afaik they should be able to do it.

On my Spartan, if I forced downgrade FW, then the watch was totally cleaned. Then update to latest FW, and that’s it.
Don’t know if it works on Ambit3, and don’t know if you will find old FW.

Suunto Spartan Ultra (since 2016) FW: 2.8.24 (retired)
                  Suunto Vertical all black
                  Wife : S9PP
SA: Always the latest beta :)
                  Android 13, Galaxy S205G

Ok, this is weird. But as I’ve said I did force a firmware update which did reset the watch - in the Logbook it has activities only from the last two weeks.
However, on the Suunto app on my phone, I see all the activities from the previous owner as well as the above-mentioned ones.

I will try to do it through sports-tracker. What is it anyway? It’s not Suunto related?

Everything is clear now: The watch synced the old activities to the app in which I used my Apple ID which didn’t let me log in on sports-tracker to view anything on the website. So I was not able to delete.
I’ve deleted the app and signed up again using only email and password on both the app and sports-tracker

                      Thanks all
