Power saver tilt
-
Hi, since the last update, the power save tilt function is not working correctly for me. I turn off “Tilt-to-wake” and enable “Power saver tilt”. This works great, the power saver tilt is on when looking at the watch. However, after some time, in settings “Power saver tilt” is disabled and “Tilt-to-wake” is enabled again. Before the update, there was no problem with this and the function was permanently turned on. This mostly happens when I switch the Airplane mode on/off, enable the Screen-off function, or entering the WearOS app on the phone.

@who93 I’m not having this issue. Which watch face are you using?
-
I am using the heatmap face, but also tried on the Marine watch face. It happens quite often and it is really annoying. A reboot didn’t solve the issue.

@who93 I am not having this issue with either watch face. In fact, I have never had this problem. What are the settings in WearOS under Advanced Settings for Tilt to Wake? Is this activated?
-
Can it be some other app affecting this ?
-
Sorry for the late reply, the problem still occurs. In WearOS app, the correct setting is active (Tilt-to-wake off and power saver tilt on). However, it changes back to “Tilt-to-wake” on after some time, same as in the setting of the watch. I only have Outlook and the Message app from Google installed on the watch. I try a factory reset of the watch soon…

Is it possible for 3rd party apps to take advantage of this setting?
Is there anything stopping other 3100/4100 watches from setting up a similar function - could we see wear os bring this out as a standard setting?
