Import training to Suunto app
-
@pilleus SyncMyTracks is solution. Thanks a lot.

@xaltuton
Have you checked ascent / descent of your imported activities with Syncmytracks in SA? -
@Mff73 Yes, I checked. As the predecessors said - ascent and descent are missing.
And I don’t know why Suunto doesn’t let edit those values “by hand” in SA. -
@xaltuton said in Import training to Suunto app:
missing
Import from Strava to Movescount (not to Sportstracker and not to Suunto!) and you will have ascent and descent in Suunto app.

@pilleus
Good idea.
Unfortunately, for me, I can’t connect my Movescount account to Sports-tracker.
Either a bug, an issue with my account, or something disabled once MC to SA transition is done. -
Actually SyncMyTracks has added Suunto App support. Did you try Strava2SportTracker or Strava2SA?
-
@suzzlo it’s the same API (check the changelog of version 3.11.0), just another name listed in SyncMyTracks, no difference in importing activities. Ascent and descent are missing. The only way is the one via Movescount.
-
@pilleus First I loaded GPX file to Endomondo (asc and desc are ok there) and next I exported from Endomondo to SA (and I lost asc and desc).
So next step, I exported from Endomondo to Movescount without any problem too (asc and desc are ok in Movescount) but problem is when I tried synchronize from Movescount to SA - Syncmytracks didn’t see my new added training and it exported nothing. Maybe “native” export from Movescount to SA is ok… -
@xaltuton the sync from Movescount to Suunto is working via Sportstracker. In Movescount connect Sportstracker and the activities will be shown correctly in Suunto app.
-
@pilleus Ok. Another way (propably) is pay for Syncmytracks and point this concrete day of training for export (in free version Syncmytracks can export only last 40 trainings) EDIT: I changed date of training in Movescount and I imported it from Movescount to SA via Syncmytracs but… still without acc and desc in SA. It looks like SA destroys these information if transmission is via Syncmytracks. I will try Sportstracker yet.

@Mff73 “The import via Syncmytracks will kill ascent descent to Sports-tracker as well.” Ok but sometimes transfering via Syncmytracks keeps asc&desc (for example from Endomondo do MC) but attempts from another services to SA - fails. Therefore I was thinking about “native/build-in” transfer.

@xaltuton
No problem :), the issue is not syncmytracks, but SA/ST import API (the one that is “open”) which is not letting pass these values.
If/When SA official import API will be open, we may have nice ways to import.
