Watch faces

given this watch has only just come out a couple of months ago. I understand the combined thread. But there are a lot of posts in there now. Thought I would make its own thread.

I haven’t used any but the default Suunto faces. Any recommendations for a watch face that has analogue hands, steps, battery life and the date on?
Preferably one that isn’t going to destroy my battery life.

@meyton89 I like Ultimate Watch 2. It has analogue hands and you can choose up to 8 dials to configurate.

@meyton89 According to the Wear OS app battery monitor it has used 2% of battery the last 24 hours.

OK I have uploaded ultimate watch 2 and I like it. I had a shakey start but thats because I didn’t read any instructions.

I very not put in on always on yet but so far I am getting through a day with about 60% battery life left which is good from what I see

OK so a full day with ultimate watch 2 face on always on, came of charge at 0630 this morning. No exercise (apart from walking the dog)or music streaming watch is on 69% battery life.

@bulkan Hi, it was just me playing with WearOS Watchface development during the last “lockdown”. I’ve never really put enough effort to make it production ready and unlikely to find time for it in the near future.

I think Nomad watchface is quite good substition for it.

Does anyone know if there a way to change the colour scheme of the stock Suunto 7 watch faces? Specifically I would like to change the yellow to another colour on the marine face. I have read the manual and don’t see this as an option. I realize I could get a 3rd party watch face but am concerned about battery life (plus I quite like the marine). Thanks.
