GPS bugs on Suunto9

Hi all,
Just to add my touch on this topic, I’m pretty happy with my Suunto 9 baro but every time we hike with my girl friend, there is between 300 and 500m of difference with my watch and her garmin forerunner, even if we start/stop our watches at the same time and follow the exact same path.

@Saketo-Nemo just realized my suunto was configured with GPS system only while the garmin uses GPS+Glonass. I changed my settings and we will try again with a quick run

@suzzlo nop, she got the forerunner 735XT, which is more a triathlon/running device, this can also play a role in the thing.

@TELE-HO distance. As the forerunner is taking it’s altitude from GPS and not baro, I would not compare them.

Okay, quick cycling test this morning with GPS+Galileo and it looks like I’m more “on the road” when looking at the map.
