What are the best settings to achieve the longest gps runtime?
Great, would be a special function in which the Wear Os is switched off completely and only the Suunto app runs . quasi a super flight mode 😃

@Sascha-Domres S7 app is powered by WearOS, you can’t switch off the operating system.

Deactivate animations, bluetooth, wlan, choose the lowest level of display brightness, choose a simple watch face with decomposing (not the one with heat maps), deactivate AOD in the S7 app and minimize the usage of the map screen in the running app.

I think you can reach 12 hours of tracking without problems (e. g. cycling). 😎

@Sascha-Domres Running will be less than 12, 8-10h is probably close to all you can get. I have a 55k race coming up in a little over a week. I am going to try to get the S7 to last but we will see.

@Brad_Olwin thank you…I’m looking forward to your report. It becomes problematic when e.g. on a long bike tour does not start with 100%.I find it a little annoying to always keep an eye on the battery consumption… Well, let’s get some experience now… Still a very nice watch.
