@jorgefd78 a friend of mine, long time user of Suunto sent me, he had been lost since bought a Fenix but found his way back with and old Ambit. You know, people and gadgets.

There is an app you can access at anytime and it will even chart altitude changes, it comes with a compass app too.

I’ll post up a ton of pictures and my thoughts on it after I’ve had it for a while, I’ve had quite a few ‘smart’ watches over the years, and honestly this one checks all the boxes for me the most it would appear. While I really like the Garmin eco-system and Connect IQ apps etc, I think Suunto makes a far nicer product, the hardware is simply a higher quality.

@Storz Hang in there! Some of us have been waiting for almost a month now. Dusted off my old LG Sport just to test waters with latest Wear OS, ended up grabbing Fossil Gen 5 on recommendation of people here. I Suunto 7 is as fast as Fossil (and it should be given it’s also Qualcomm 3100 and 1GB RAM I’d imagine), this would be a total winner.

I am moving to NC in June, the new house is just below 4000 feet, pretty high for the east coast
