I have been a Suunto customer/advocate for over 12 years. I have touted Suunto’s strengths, and even didn’t blink when the original desktop Movescount app went to a cloud based app. But THIS is a broken promise, a false sales gimmick, to stop providing a service promised upon the sales of non-bluetooth devices.

I will not be held hostage by a company, no matter HOW good they were previously, who sells then recants at will.

So long Suunto, nice working with you, Better luck next decision cycle.

Another lost customer and non-paid sales representative.

What did you end up with?

Always carry a flaggon of whiskey for snakebite; and furthermore, always carry a small snake.

I didn’t understand what his complaint was.

I understood that he didn’t like in the past that suunto took care that his data will not be lost in case his computer crashes…
                  all the rest… no idea!
