Import activities recorded by other /not Suunto devices/?
-
Hello Suunto community
Is there or will it be in the future a way to import activities recorded by other /not Suunto devices/?Thanks!
-
@Anatoli-Angelov Hi, we don’t know if it will be possible in the future, official import but today it’s available import in sports-tracker website

Thanks @suzzlo,
I tried importing in Sports-Tracker and after that the activity appeared immediately in Suunto App.
I did not know that they are connected. -
SA started from sports-tracker platform so initially, they share lots of things… but, eventually it could stop working this workaround
Officially SA has ‘export to fit’ from its backend but not ‘Import’
Let’s see what happens in the future. For some of us, could be a very good addition because it could potentially be used for Wahoo, Zwift… indoor cycling, or other tons of products

@Anatoli-Angelov
check if the elevation graph is correct. I’ve had problems once when sync to ST first and then to SA -
@Anatoli-Angelov
…and would you like to share your secret why you want to upload from a foreign watch to SA!
is there something nice that you benefit from compared to other services?
because I will use strava plus elevate extension together with SA. (today I mainly use movescount) -
@TELE-HO said in Import activities recorded by other /not Suunto devices/?:
elevation graph
Elevation data are missing in Sportstracker when you use the import function.

@TELE-HO
The eleveation graph looks fine, the laps’ asc and dsc looks fine too. But the values in the summary for both asc and dsc are zero…
I am just curious that is why I tried this
I also use Strava and Elevate extension -
@Anatoli-Angelov
I guess if suunto did their job well they might win another new customer -
@TELE-HO
Who knows…
