Set regional Settings to UK
-
@Paulo-Silva setting the region to the UK won’t solve the problem. I’m also waiting for it to get corrected. Especially that on the watch my week starts on Monday, in the app however on Sunday. I want it to be starting on Monday in the app, too. For now, there is no way for it to happen.

i don’t know wich device you use, but on iPhone if you set region to UK it will solve this problem

@Paulo-Silva Android. So I’m only hoping the Android app will catch up soon.

I have an Ambit 3 Run.
I tried changing the region, but no luck. There is not an option to set this on my watch, so it must happen on the App. It is small, not to worried, but does make tracking week to week training bit of a mathematical exercise… LOL.
Thanks for the input guys.

But this changes language (spelling), currency and other issues. This is a bug and is reported.

On Android it isn’t possible to change the region like suggested above. I searched for an answer, and it appears on Android it isn’t easy to do at all unless you run your phone in Developer mode and use special tools:
https://www.ctrl.blog/entry/android-en150-localization.htmlEven though I am in US my training weeks start on Monday, so I can’t use a number of SA features until there is an option to change that to Monday.
If Suunto watch gives me an option to select week start day, Suunto App must have that option too, and ideally sync it with the watch.

@HawkEye6 tried your advice… still not right

I finally got it working by changing the Language to English (UK). I use Galaxy S8+. The reason why it previously didn’t work for me despite using English was that I had two languages added and the top one was English (US). Unfortunately, it means that on Android you will likely have to change the language of the whole device ( this is what the option does in my case ). I don’t see separate Language and Region settings anywhere. Suunto app takes into account only very first ( default ) language from the list. I’m lucky enough to be from the UK, so this has solved my problem but I believe it’s just a workaround hiding the real problem and this must be fixed.

All,
Has this been resolved yet for iOS? Having the same thing now (Suunto 9) and would like to change the first day of the week to Monday. Tried the language setting and that didn’t make a difference. Have changed the Calendar settings and also nothing… Any hints / tips?

@jsr184 that worked for me too. I tried changing the Day Start in the calendar app but that didn’t work. But when I changed the language from English US to English UK that changed it
