¿June/July transition update?
-
Sorry @TELE-HO , it’s due to my bad english
I use google translate, better.
suunto, in its latest release updates for digital transition, also assured old users of ambit 1 and 2 will not lose functionality and will be fully supported. If the series 1 and 2 will be, it is obvious that even ambit 3 will be fully supported and we will lack nothing compared to what we have (I also have a 3 run ambit, among others) now with movescount.

For me,
Movescount app sucks, but MC web interface is a very powerful tool, and it cannot be replaced.
I do provide very bad comment about SA-- in fact SA is not sucking, SA app is better than MC app-- but MC ecosystem is better: if the SA app is only to made to replace MC APP, I could give it 120/100, I could dedicate more patience.This!

Has anything been said specifically about the transition process and whether we will still be able to use MC after our existing moves have been converted, and it’ll keep bringing them over to SA if new MC moves are recorded. Or will this be a one-shot deal that once you do it you pretty much have to transition to the SA from that point forward.
Reason I ask is that I’m running 2 watches now. I just got an Ambit3 Peak for hiking/backpacking/back-country so I have better POI support and GPS performance. And I’m thinking I’ll use my Spartan for the HR capability on all of my other workouts and training. Planning to pair the Ambit3 with MC and the Spartan with SA.
If not, guess my only option is pair the Spartan with MC via another device and just stay on MC until it’s toast and migrate all moves then.

@chrish
MC transfer to SA will be one shot. One shot for all your moves at the transfer date.
But MC will still be usable for New moves until… But new moves still won’t sync to SA and mass transfert won’t be possible anymore.
Only once.
