Is there any way to change the contrast on the main clock face? Itβs almost impossible to see in a dimly lit room without having to constantly press a button for a back light.

Nope, but the backlight could be turn as always on -
Thats a shame. Even with the backlight on it does not look as bright and crisp as the advertisments would lead you to believe.

Iβm going to try it out for a couple of weeks to give it a fair shake, if it fails to impress then I will do just that.
On another note, is there a way to add Gmail to the notifications?

@Robert-Spierenburg if it has a transflective display (which I think so) they are not at best readable in dim light conditions. But still readable. In dark conditions it works great with the backlight. But in direct sunlight they are awesome. Compare it with your phone. You will like it.
