Ambit, and Ambit2 users after 2020

Hi,
I have a Suunto Ambit2, and looks like Movescount (and Moveslink?) will close at 2020.
How can I sync my training after that? Will Moveslink sync to Suunto App?

I’m glad to read that Suunto is not going to leave the Ambit users alone.

@ibongc I cannot share anything atm. I can though confirm that Suunto has well heard all of you and Suunto can change ways due to that.
Please give it some time, enjoy it it’s like more than 1 and a half year. News will come and I will make sure for all the updates to reach you here and that we discuss again about them.

Hi there,
Taking a part of this forum to support the message that Ambit1 and Ambit2 HAVE TO BE SUPPORTED in the future by Suunto.
It would be purely unacceptable that such expensive products loose 90% of its function in a programmed obsolescence action led by the manufacturer.
I have an Ambit 2 and a also core.
My wife has an Ambit 1.
My brother has an Ambit 2S.
We were all happy of these products and bought and Ambit 3 to my brother in law last summer.But if nothing changes, I will NEVER buy a Suunto product any more.
Would you please pass the message again to Suunto, and keep us updated about Ambit 1 & 2 future ?

Hi, believe us here, this message is already passed to Suunto and they have listened. We now have to hope they make the right decision for all us different users. There is simply not more we can do right now…

Hope is not really sufficient.
And I’m not only a user, I’m an active customer.
Suunto must communicate now.Otherwise I will sell all my devices as used device on any peer to peer website while it is still time to do it, then move to Garmin, and they will have two more disappointed users in a few time.
