I’m using mainly my AMBIT3, but often my AMBIT2 as well as my first GPS watch the Suunto X10 just for reference. I’ll continue to use the Ambit3 until it “dies” or the decomission of movescount.com what ever comes first. Then I will change to a brand that appreciates loyalty from it customers, which Suunto clearly doesn’t!

@jthomi I don´t like this kind of sarcastic comments, just because someone “leaves” suunto. I personally don´t trust suunto any more, and my other watch will be Polar / Garmin.

I’m sure I’ll get burnt for this, but loyalty is a fading thing, both from consumers (who expect everything all the time in the current day - and of which I am one) and from businesses.
By the way I would avoid Polar right now, I came from there and the Vantage is a bit of a mess. The same issues that I raised well over a year ago with their app have seen no improvement. You have people here that are complaining (and I’m not judging whether it is a valid or not valid complaint) that Ambit 2’s will no longer be supported. But Polar’s watch cycle is much shorter, with the Vantage, they have ditched any kind of firmware improvement for watches that are still in their warranty period.
The grass is always greener. I just had a really good look at almost all other watches. I think the only watch that might offer me everything from a software side is possibly a Garmin 935/Fenix5 although they have their issues too. But the Suunto Spartan can do much of what I need now and I think the Suunto App and partner integration (import and export) could actually get me to a point that I am completely happy.
Technology with watches is moving so fast - if someone like Samsung or Wear OS could get their act together with a proper Sports Watch, the landscape would change. Garmin watches could go the same way as their GPS devices did. These watches have turned into disposable play things, much like mobile phones have become.

@karel-louda
I hope you find all what you want with those other watches, and maybe in the future we might welcome you here again! Till then, have fun and stay healthy!I personally feel, that Suunto employees don’t listen to feedback. Nothing changes. Only beautiful words, but nothing concrete ever happens. I really don’t want to leave Suunto, but waiting for half a year for a response I placed on the website, makes me feel that you really dont care shit about customers. Thats not a good way of business, unless it is a pyramid scheme.

@Brad_Olwin Yes 2 Fenixes 5Xplus are minimum, better would be 3, or 4. Also You make a fool of me;-)

I understand @karel-louda, and I know it doesn’t help, but sometimes patience is not infinite.
Sorry @Brad_Olwin , but we need more than 100 Suunto 9, to see improvements in SA Android version.

Well, it wasn’t meant sarcastic. I really hope he gets what he needs, and sure you too. I am in no way related to Suunto, just helping here in this forum, so I don’t have any reason to be sarcastic or rude if anyone is “leaving”. In the end its just a sports watch.
Where you find my comment being sarcastic?

Well, I think you have a valid point here. Sure they listen, but the speed the feature we want are getting implemented take really long, but that also is explained here in some other posts. I am sorry you had negative experiences with Suunto, my experiences with the Suunto Service were good.
What was the actual problem? Maybe we users have a solution for it?
Again I am in no way personally linked to Suunto. I just have a Suunto watch, and joined the beta program. Then shortly after that this forum and when they looked for moderators, I sent my application here, and was picked.
Here to help other users, thats all.@juhadisti said in leaving:

@sartoric well Farmin connect is quite good web interface and customizable for your taste what info you want to see. Without web interface only fitness stuff can live, but serious sport guys can’t
P.S. Fenix 2 still syncs with their web…
