      Hi guys,
during the weekend I took part in 24 hours race with my SSU. There are two issues I noticed, one related to the app and the other to current watch FW.

      • SA: It took really long time to upload the activity once it was already synced from the watch. I know it was mentioned here already several times but I just want to ask why does it take such a long time for the activity to upload? I know there is lot of data being uploaded but the file is not so huge that the process shouldn’t take dozens of minutes with several restarts of the app - it froze when I tried to switch to workout log. Because it’s planned to be the only way how to sync the watch the process should be definitely faster and smoother. (using iPhone SE)

      • FW: I don’t know if somebody noticed that but when you turn on the power saving option “Turning off the display” and then you lock buttons they are NOT locked when the display is turned off. I locked the display because I used trekking poles but when the display was off and I was still accidentally pushing lap button and creating new laps. Really annoying. Just a question. Is it a known issue? Should I report it to support?

On the other hand, with the good GPS settings, low colour mode and display off I was still left with 46% battery left after the 23 hours (even with all the laps I accidentally created), very impressed with what is SSU capable of. And Suunto 9 should be even better right? 🙂
      Thanks!

        a) On android is faster because it compresses the data before sending those. A 24H activity unpaced can be up to 100MB +
        b) it’s a known bug, but only the lap button works

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos thank you very much. Ok, up to 100MB that explains a lot. Maybe something like a progress bar would be helpful so it is possible to see how much longer will upload take.
And regarding the lap button, will it be fixed? Not that I would have to deal with it on daily basis but during the last race it was really very frustrating 😄
          Thanks again
