@Mff73
I have done this couple of weeks, too… all transitioned altitude graphs are spikey…
Maybe I get a second chance before I transfer MC to SA the official way… I will then delete all SA activities (maybe need to create a new account?!) and the sync all MC data to SA in a good quality.I think instruction from Suunto will come along with an announcement how to proceed in which user cases, because there are several cases!
I am waiting to do it like that as well
When available, new SA account, and MC mass transfer -

Do you have an estimated for the data transfer to happen for Ambit3? I have an Ambit3 but now upgrade to S9. The SA does not allow me to pair 2 watches at the same time so I have to keep an eye for the data transfer for Ambit3 to happen.
Don’t want to lose all my 5 years MC data…
You won’t lose any data. The Tags and routes will not transfer but you can download the routes. For two watches, here is what I do. Sync with SA, then forget the watch you synced in the app (Not in BT stack, only the app), then pair the 2nd watch and sync with SA. I switch watches often this way. All the fitness and exercises will transfer to the app.

Can’t find MS in SA in connect to other services.
I have a problem moving MS data to SA. I use spartan sport.
In SA in the connectivity section, there is no MS app to login and connect.
I created SA account with the same email and password as MS.
What do I need to do to get MS visible in SA to make a transfer?
MS and SA are still in my iPhone paired with watch. Thanks!
I am in the same situation, I dont have the option to connect to movescount from SA to transfer my old data
iPhone, have both installed but watch forgotten from movescount. ( I have deleted movescount and the option still does not appear so have put it back).

The Tags and routs will not transfer…
So it seems tags aren’t going to make it into Suunto app. Bummer.

Big bummer for me too as this is how I locate moves and compare to prior years. If you have iOS you can use the same tags in the comment fields and start over. The search works for them.

On Android atm you have to use the description field

@Brad_Olwin I dont do Apple. Nor do I want to edit the hundreds of moves I’ve done over the years. Poking at my 5 inch phone screen for hours sounds unpleasant. Too bad there isnt a “Suunto app” website to do it on. Lol. I’m going to have to do something though, that data is important to me.
-
@sartoric I dont know what version of the Android app you have, but mine doesn’t have a search box to search anything.

4.6.0 (signature )
Yes ,but it doesn’t search comment contents -
@TELE-HO no gaps and it looks like the graps, and acent/decent are correct on the moves I have tested

I get your concerns, you should see my tag list in MC, I found this feature incredibly useful. I cannot go back and modify hundreds of old moves either. I use a computer app that stores all data locally and have that one tagged with equipment. I have been though a couple of these transitions and it seems that they often have limitations.

Import worked like a charm - I have some duplicates but i will manage to remove them (I knew that I will have to)
But…
“Scuba diving” profile in SA is just a joke… Only description is time???
Where is location info? Depth info? Temperature info? Surface time? Bottom time? Text description (if you are diving you know how important it may be i.e. weigths)
I hope that these informations are being stored in SA just not being shown right nowI started using Suunto with diving computers and then swiched to sport watches…

Hello, because after import to my old Sports-Tracker account I have too much duplicates, I want make transition once again, to newly made account. But Suunto.app told me, the transition can I make only once (and this is gone). It is possible something somewhere reset to allow second attempt? Thank You.

@karel-louda I have the same problem and asked @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos for help. He wants to keep me posted on this but currently is on vacation. Maybe you can reach out to him?

@borgelkranz
Answer from Suunto Support.Thank you for contacting Suunto Customer Support.
Unfortunately, you can’t do a second attempt on importing your old Sports-Tracker account to a new one. We apologize for this inconvenience but we don’t have features to import your old activities on a second attempt in Suunto App.
If you have other concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Raphael

@karel-louda no idea if it could work: creating new SA account and linking with MC?

It won’t work as MC account is then flagged as synced.
It is technically feasible for Suunto to unflag and let a second sync (done for me after some sync test before official release) , but surely they don’t want to do it for everyone request it.
