Got mine yesterday - but returning it since it can’t pair with my Wahoo Roam 3. It can only pair with my Race 2 and Zwift…/&%!#

And yes I do know how to pair a HR belt 😉 But I’m amazed how a new HR belt in 2026 are not multiple compatible across devices…?!

that’s strange, as the HRM2 should be able to pair and use with 3 devices at the same time…

Pairing to more than 1 device - instructions here

              1. Wear the heart rate belt to power it on.
              2. Initiate pairing in the host device.
              3. Press the button for two seconds to accept the pairing request from the host. The host will be added to a known hosts list in the Suunto Smart Heart Rate Belt 2.
              4. Check that the pairing was successful. If you are in an environment with many active BLE sensors you will want to check that the serial number of the found sensor is the same as on the back side of the transmitter of your heart rate belt. Suunto Smart Heart Rate Belt 2 will show up as SHRM2 followed by the last four digits of the serial number. After pairing you will see the battery level and the services available from the belt if the host device has this capability.
              5. To pair a second and third host repeat the process from step 2 for each host. Suunto Smart Heart Rate Belt 2 can have an active connection to three hosts at the same time, but many more hosts can be on the known hosts list.

To initiate pairing in a Suunto watch go to the Connectivity menu inside the settings menu and choose Pair new device → Pair sensor or Pair HR sensor, depending on watch model. Remember to select the Suunto Smart Heart Rate Belt 2 into your relevant sports modes using the sport mode menu under the sports start wait screen.

                Hello,
Should Suunto SHRM 2 work with Suunto 9 Baro? I am talking about HR function and HRV /R-R.
I have pairing correct but no HR recording is made.

                Yes, it should of course.
And I have just confirmed, it does not work as it should
Made a bug report with Suunto.

It does not when I tested. I would doubt that this will be fixed but not sure.

@Bogdan1921 Maybe better to buy it at amzn or something. Suuntos planned delivery date for me is the 22th of September 😞

Edit: Seems like Suunto is pessimistic about their shipping performance. Belt is on the way and should arrive on the 17th 😃

@Brad_Olwin Do you see changes / improvements using it with Zonesense? Faster reaction to changes?

@VoiGAS This is also my main interest. I’m curious if the ZS data is “cleaner” at all, perhaps less chaotic in the high/low swings, or more “accurate” for time spent in each zone. I see a lot of noise when I look at the DFA data in Runalyze and have always been curious if the strap or my shirt is creating ESD that’s messing up the HRV data.

I’m kind of “meh” about ZoneSense right now with my Polar H10, so if there is cleaner QRS data at the module before reaching the watch, which in turn leads to less noisy DFA data in Runalyze and less noisy ZS charts, I’m interested.
