This morning the Suunto app on my phone automatically updated itself to 6.13.6 (stable release, not beta [edit: it is beta: now removed]). The exact same pairing loop came back immediately:

Phone confirms the Ambit3 Peak is paired
App then starts the pairing process again
      Infinite loop

      Device details for reference:

      Phone: Lenovo P2
      Android version: 14
Desktop OS: Manjaro Linux (so SuuntoLink + USB is not an option)

I have once again uninstalled 6.13.6 and sideloaded 6.7.12. Pairing works again and the phone is currently re-synchronising the same 35 activities (took about 40 minutes this time).
This confirms that the regression is still present in the current public 6.13.6 build. Auto-update has overridden the previous working version, so anyone who rolled back will eventually be forced back into the broken state unless they keep auto-update disabled.
Please treat this as a confirmed, reproducible issue with Ambit3 Peak on Android 14.

@isazi It is beta - my apologies (now removed myself from it).

@mcmahonsport @isazi Same on ios 3.14.0 (23640) with ambit 3 sports sapphire… Shared screenshot with feedback via beta.
Strangely paired a second ambit 3 peak sapphire and it worked. will try again the sport
edit: the ambit 3 peak paired but it is super slow to sync activities and fails some times

@mcmahonsport I confirm 6.13.6 is causing connection loop for my Ambit3 peak as well. Android 17, Pixel 8a. Will try to sideload an older version.

Is this reported to the developers?

Edit: Sideloading an older version worked.

I sideloaded to 6.7.x and then I now disabled the auto-update so that it won’t be updated until it is (hopefully) fixed.

                    Update 9 September 2026
6.13.6 is no longer beta — it has been released as a stable update on Google Play.

After leaving the beta programme and successfully running 6.7.12 (pairing and sync working normally), the Play Store automatically replaced it with 6.13.6. The pairing loop returned immediately on the Ambit3 Peak.

Sideloading 6.7.12 again restores full functionality.

This is now affecting the stable channel. Please prioritise a fix for Ambit3/Traverse pairing.

Same issue here; does Suunto provide an official way to download previous versions (or at least get the APK SHA in order to verify that files downloaded from public mirrors are legit)? Thanks!
