Automatic safety light at sunset
It would be great to have a very simple safety feature on the Suunto Vertical 2:
Automatically activate the red flashing light at sunset and turn it off again at sunrise.
The purpose is not to illuminate the trail — we already use a headlamp at night — but simply to make the runner more visible to cars, cyclists and other people.
The watch already knows the sunset and sunrise times, so this should be a very simple feature to implement.
Most importantly, it would remove the need to remember to manually turn the light on every evening.
Garmin already offers a similar concept. I think this would be a very useful safety feature for trail runners and anyone running outdoors after sunset.
Please consider adding it to the Vertical 2!
