Map navigation controls suggestion

I see the button controls for the map navigation and I think it can be improved because zoom in and out are used more often than navigation options.
For the ‘Default’ mode:
UP button:
Press -> Zoom in Long press -> Switch to 'Pan and zoom' modeMID button:
Press -> Next screen Long press -> Previous screenDOWN button:
Press -> Zoom out Long press -> Open navigation optionsFor the ‘Pan and zoom’ mode:
UP button:
Press -> Zoom in / Go right / Go upMID button:
Press -> Switch to 'Default' modeDOWN button:
Press -> Zoom out / Go left / Go down Long press -> Open navigation options
