After the last two software updates (2.56.18 and previous version), the battery has been draining very fast (25-30% a day)

      I tried:

      • Draining the battery until the watch shuts down and recharging it overnight.

      • Removing and re-adding the connection to my mobile phone.

      • Changing the watch face to a simple one.

      • Disabling some tracking features, such as blood oxygen and sleep tracking.

      • Performing a factory reset.

      • Re-download of a Offline map

However, it is still draining by 25–30% [daily]. The watch is not even a year old, so I am confused about whether this is a software bug or if I really need to send it in for repair.

@Idriel this doesn’t sound normal. Turn off wireless and discovery just to make sure it isn’t related to network issues or maybe HR monitors

@Idriel I have already opened a case at Suunto for this. There are several posts in the forum about this isse. I actually can solve this by doing a soft reset immediately after charging to 100% (once I need to do it twice, usually one reset is sufficient).

Unfortunately, I’m seeing the same behavior. My watch loses around 10% battery per day even when I’m not recording any workouts.

            Current settings:
            • Always-on display: On
            • Brightness: Medium
            • Raise to wake: Off

@Danny-poleg 10% with AOD is not really bad. Without AOD I have 6-7% without activities but OX sensor on. I think this is what you should expect …

Mine lasts 2-3 weeks with everything enabled except AoD and SPO2.
