Need HR data for data overlay, why?

I just noticed the you can’t add the new beautiful data overlay to an activity that lacks HR data. I have a pool swim that I edited and added imaginative HR data, and then I could share a picture with overlays. Why is that limitation in place, I will most likely never have HR data during swimming…

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
