Hi, I’m getting constant vibration alerts during my runs with no information showing on screen. I can’t figure out what’s triggering them.

      Setup:

      • Suunto Vertical 2, firmware 2.53.42
      • Running guided workouts via SuuntoPlus (synced from intervals.icu)
      • Stryd foot pod connected for power
      • Power zone target set in workout steps

The vibration happens repeatedly throughout the run even when I’m clearly within the target zone on screen. There’s no message, no zone alert display, nothing, just a buzz. It’s not the step change alert (I know what that feels like), not auto-lap, and exercise mode are set to NO TARGET.

I came from Garmin where this was never an issue, no random alerts, clean guided workout experience throughout.

I’m a deaf athlete so vibration is my only feedback, constant random buzzing makes it impossible to know what’s actually important. I always check my watch display to monitor my zone so I don’t need alerts telling me when I go off target. I only need the step change alert so I know when a new interval starts.

Anyone experienced this and found a fix? Is there a way to identify what’s triggering the alert? Thank you!

@tobstar Do you have Suunto + Climb running? “Climb your watch will automatically detect the uphills and also create laps of them”

Same mystery buzzing/vibrating happened on my 9 Peak Pro, and now on Vertical 2. Happens maybe once every two hours of exercise? I asked support a year or two ago and they didn’t get what I was saying and told me it was a notification…but it’s not.

Did I answer this already on reddit?
The intervals.icu workout gives you a target. The buzzing occurs as you enter and exit the target zone and as you hit the target precisely…

@2b2bff Sure…if you’re doing an interval workout I agree completely. But during a run without any “targets” it still happens. Haven’t found a reason (or how to make it stop) yet.
