HRM 2?
-
@Stoke80 I did not test the HRM 2, so have no data on the accuracy.
-
@Stoke80 you look the video of the test from thequantifiedscientist,
It could answer some of your questions. -
My very first run during my lunch break at work with the HRM2 (sorry, I haven’t enabled Running Dynamic so can’t say anything).
Setup went smoothly with SA, except for one small hiccup with the watch (Race S)Edit:
I re-paired the strap with SA and watch without any problems. I probably did something wrong the first time.
The (wider) strap is more comfortable than the previous one and finally doesn’t slip off when wet.

Does anyone have screenshots or examples showing how the running dynamics data from the Suunto Smart Heart Rate Belt 2 are presented in the Suunto app on iPhone?
It shows up in the “Technique” section of the activity summary. Plus you can select those metrics in the graphs.
Looks like this:

Does this work with the Vertical 1?

@Egika interesting that the Run 1 already have these metrics except flight time and the average ration between ground contact and flight.

No

Vertical 2 and other recent watches also have ground contact time and vertical oscillation built in.

@Egika ah nice, I didn’t know that!

Another interesting feedback from this reviewer, in which he noted some strange behaviour from the HRM2 (the sensor was stuck at 150 bpm). Here is where he discusses it.
FWIW it worked without a hitch for me today… but that’s just a one shot. I’ll keep an eye on the matter.
