Re-pairing vertical 2
-
I had an issue with my vertical 2 where I couldn’t create any new custom sports mode as the option was greyed out in the app after the watch synced.
I read that a soft reset of the watch and forgetting the device in the app and on my iPhone could help this but unfortunately having unpaired it I am no longer after abe to pair it again with the app. The app recognises my watch but the connect button is greyed out. I have tried a soft reset on the watch and turning my phone off and on again but this has not helped.
I am loathed to perform a hard reset and lose all the data and settings on my watch. Does anyone have any suggestions to overcome this irritating issue?

@MikeC30 you must delete watch in Bluetooth settings in iPhone and repairing it

I’ve done that and it still won’t re-pair unfortunately

@MikeC30
Try to also delete the paring on the watch.Settings > Connectivity > Paired devices > MobileApp > Forget
Also enable discovery for pairing, you can disable afterwards
Settings > Connectivity > Discovery ON

Thanks. That has worked. Hasn’t fixed the issue of only having 3 custom sports modes but at least the watch is paired with the app again.

@MikeC30 Hello. Same situation. I can’t create new sports either in vertical 2 limited edition or in vertical 1
