      Is there a way to disable nap detection? Currently everytime i sit down to watch tv or play with consoles the watch thinks im sleeping. I have tried with setting resting hr to very low ( lower than sleeping hr ) and default setting 60 and everything in between and no change. I have set sleeptarget to 7h and time in bed to 21:30-4:50. This messes all the recovery data cos im allways “sleeping”.

        @Kaikkionkaytos unfortunately no. There should be a way where you had to confirme the nap time after the watch detected it so you could dismiss when it is wrong. Or at least edit in the app. I have the same problem and it messes up everything

          @Kaikkionkaytos Interesting as I do not have this issue at all. I rarely nap but did yesterday and the nap was detected appropriately.
          Do you have DND on when watching TV?
          I would set sleep time for the appropriate times and HR, set DND during sleep time or a bit before and after.

              @Brad_Olwin I set DND manually for sleep. But I get a nap detected from time to time. As the whole algorithm depends on wrist movement. There should be a way to edit he begin and end of a detected sleep and delete naps in the app…

                There should be toggle to turn nap detection off and on so people could use it or not. Depending if it works for them or not

                  I often take a short nap at lunchtime. But it’s never been recognized as a nap. Do I need to turn something on?

                      @2b2bff 😂😂😂

                      Promise you, no.

                      Tracking naps is one of some things I don’t need.

                        I would hold off on Factory reset unless absolutely necessary. I am similar and have sleep DND set for 21:00 to 6:00 but fall asleep at 21:30 and wake up at 5:30.

                        When on the couch for TV I am not motionless, I usually have water and will get up once or twice an hour.

                          To no suprise factoryreset didnt help and again solid 13h 13min “sleep” from 13:52-05:04. Actual time to bed 21:30 so little off i would say…

                            . In my case, the nap detection has never worked.
                            Use Vertical 2.

                              @Sportsfreund In my case, it worked very well. On Race, now on V2. But today, it started detecting sleep with 1 hour delay😁.

                                        Your watch might be tracking naps incorrectly if your RHR isn’t updated to match your current fitness.

                                          @Bigb0zz what do you mean? In my case nap never worked. But often I do short sleep after lunch.

                                            @Sportsfreund What I mean is, the watch uses your RHR as a reference point. If you set it too high, the sensor might just think you’re sitting still rather than napping. Try checking if your settings actually match your lowest HR when you wake up in the morning.
