Ghost vibrations
-
Hey guys,
Since a few months, I’ve been having a lot of “ghost vibrations”.
The watch is on my wrist, and just vibrate, nothing happens on screen, i didn’t do anything to it, i didn’t do something specific, i didn’t receive a notification (and they are disabled anyway, just calls).
At first, I thought I was imagining things, but it happened way too many times, and way to “real” to be imagining it.
It sometimes happens several times per day, and I can’t find the cause, did it happen to you all ? -
I have noticed the same. Sabe behaviour and nothing on screen. Happens only during exercise.

@Janne-Leppamaki during exercises with a Guide it will vibrate as you enter or exit the range that is requested by the Guide…
@elipsus do you possibly use an external HRM?
-
I have also experienced the vibration without a notification on my Race 2 several times. Without HRM and not during an activity.
-
@Elipsus I’ve experienced the same phenomenon on my Vertical 2 from time to time. It usually happens when I open a sport mode, check or adjust something in the settings, and then return to the main watch face without starting a workout. Since I mostly notice it while indoors, I suspect it might be related to the GPS search running in the background—perhaps cutting in and out due to the poor signal quality.
-
I also experienced some rare ghost vibrations on my Race, and my wife with her Race S, both not during an exercise. They appeared after one of the last updates, not sure which one.

@2b2bff I do use an external HRM, and now that you talk about it, i think the ghost vibrations only happend in range, but the HRM (a Decathlon belt) is stored “unplugged” from its belt, but maybe its still awake regularly
