How to transfer ALL data from movescount to Suunto App
-
Hi. Just changed to Suunto app from movescount on iphone. Using Spartan Trainer. Suunto app imported some data dating to mid 2018 but nothing prior. Is there a way I can tell the app to import ALL my movescount data tracking back a few years? Thanks in advance for advice.

There is an app for sports-tracker in movescount. If our enable it, and provide your credentials, it will sync all your moves from movescount to sports-tracker. Be patient as it can take a couple of minutes to sync all the moves. The moves you already synced with the Suunto App will probably show as duplicate moves. You can delete one of them.

I think that you will do good to wait for an official answer to this question.
Surely suunto will have a solution that does not require us to manually delete duplicates.
But in the mean time, this is the way -
If you are using Iphone there is great app rungap which allow to sync data between multiple sport services movescount included.

Spring 2019 is the official plan for proper transfer

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I really hope that Suunto will offer a way to identify duplicates, because I used my existing ST account and already have my activites on both ST, SA and MC.
Not a big deal currently. -
@Yannis-Belouris even if that is not the case, an account wipe of moves and then history enable should work
-
@Yannis-Belouris but we are clearly aware of this problem
-
I have no worries at all about things that are fixable.
I made a mistake and uploaded all my activities from garmin to MC twice, so I deleted them one by one manually. -

@surfboomerang thanks trying it out now!

@surfboomerang no luck unfortunately. Have linked accounts but ST doesn’t seem to want to ‘import’ the data. Was really hoping it would work

@surfboomerang hey it works! Seems to be taking while. Maybe like Pantene add it won’t happen overnight but it will happen!
