@2b2bff Sorry about this, what is “My Plan”? Perhaps an issue. I have not used either Train As One or My Plan.

@Brad_Olwin “My Plan” is Suunto’s own approach of a training plan, or is it called differently now? I use the iOS app in German translation, what is still a bit lacking…

Also bit he bullet and did a factory reset. All works fine now, but it was a pain. Realized how much I customized the settings… let’s hope it’ll keep working stable now.

Hi everyone! I haven’t used Guides before, but now I’m having the same issue on V1—Guides aren’t syncing with the watch. Is the only way to fix this to reset the watch to factory settings?

@Sergei-Ladeishchikov I have had this issue for over a month. Guides, Suunto plus apps and watch faces don’t sync.
For me they sync randomly like once a week, I don’t know yet what triggers the sync. I have been trying to figure it out for weeks 😅
I have sent my logs to Suunto and informed them about the problem.

I don’t want to do a hard reset. Waiting if next software update fixes the problem.
I have also seen that some people in the Spanish forum with the V1 has the same problem.

@SamuelP I once had a problem installing watch faces, so I reset the settings. Now I’ve decided not to wait for the watch update after all, but to reset the settings instead. Of course, it’s a shame that I have to set everything up again, download maps, and wait for the HRV and ZoneSense ranges to be calculated. I’m curious to see how Suunto will resolve this issue—will the new software version help, or is the problem somewhere else entirely, meaning I’ll have to reset the settings anyway?

My watch is having Guide syncing issues too. More specifically, there are old Guides showing up on my watch that I want removed so new Guides can show up.

I’ve been using the Runna app for my runs so the planned workouts show up as Guides in SuuntoPlus on the app and on my watch. There are runs from almost three weeks ago showing up. I recently switched to Suunto’s My Plan (beta), but the Guides aren’t showing up on my watch. I think it’s because there isn’t enough room for them since Runna workouts are taking up all the space.

This is everything I’ve tried to have old Guides removed off my watch:

                  • Soft restarting (hold upper button for 12 seconds). Then sync. No changes.
                  • Disconnected my Suunto watch from the Runna app. Synced on the Suunto app. No changes.
                  • Ended my subscription with Runna, deleted it off my iphone, synced. No changes.

I really don’t want to do a hard reset based on what other people have said about the watch needing to relearn/calculate HRV and things.

I think it was on this page that I read Suunto’s next update should be fixing this issue? Is that right or did I just make that up…?

Found out the other day, if there are too many Guides waiting, it will stop syncing as well. I deleted ones for the past and the future in the app and it started syncing again…

@2b2bff Hi. I met the same issue. The Suunto guides from AI Suunto Plans were not removed and stopped syncing. I am not able to make it work anyway. But I also have my manually created Suunto guides synced to my watch, and, surprisingly, removing one of my manually created Suunto guides fixes the whole process of syncing. Please try.

I’ve been having this problem on and off for a couple of year, first with Suunto Race and now with the Race 2. Tried everything but seems factory reset is the only “reliable” solution. But randomly it stops syncing and restarts again. Since this is affecting many users and have been a problem for years it would be nice to get Supports view on this. Anyone gotten a reliable fix/workaround?
