Today it worked for me without any problems. No reset before or anything else

Same for me yesterday.
It seems the issue has been solved with the latest update. -
Hi! So this issue isnāt solved yet?
Tomorrow Iāll go skiing the first time with the watch. Do I need to pauze the watch when Iām in chair lift? Or is this going automatically or does it not matter? Maybe Iāll need to select a different sport.
The trick is to reset the watch for 12 seconds before doing the activity?

@Horizontal_2 Have you read the last 3 comments in this thread:
All (and others) state that the issue has been solved with the latest update. -
@Egika Iām sorry. I did, but I think I read it wrong

Unfortunately I got this issue again on my Race 2 with newest fw. Strange that yesterdays skiing was alright but today morning it stuck showing nothing on the screen, had to restart after first run after that it was ok. Not a big issue, but would be nice to not have it

Hello,
I was just skiing 6 days and alpine ski mode worked perfectly. I did two sessions per day, one in the morning and second session on the afternoon. I did not needed to do reboots or anything else. Watch is Race 2 with latest fw.
-
Today first run no downhil metrics, after rebooting worked well till the end.
-
Two days alpine skiing, worked perfectly. The third day, I had to reboot to get metrics

-
I have now about 30 sessions without the need to reboot
-
@MdzOtt did your first slope alright? Mine show always zero
-
@tomahawk5000 it works for me designed. All downhill parameters show correctly. Mind you, I have customised all of my activities, including alpine skiing. I show total descent, max speed, number if runs, and activity duration. I donāt remember when this problem went away, but I think, it was around mid-January.
Another data point: quite often I donāt do two consecutive alpine skiing activities in a row. Usually, I have another activity in-between. This means that alpine skiing needs to be reloaded.
-
@tomahawk5000 mine is showing zero, as well, but I wonder if this is relevant or not. Iāll have to analyze it further if that is really the first run or if that is a āghost runā (walking from the lodge to the lift etc.) - this is like it looks like. It shows (in my case) zero time, as well. When you check the number if runs, it shows the correct number (one less than what is displayed in the analysis). So that 1st run of zero length and duration does not count.

@MdzOtt my brother in law because of this issue had a few kilometres less than this friend who has Garmin thatās why Iām asking
This February I had a chance to skiing and this March mybbrothe in law bowh we had same issue his for snowboard and I for alpine skiing. Thatās sad

@tomahawk5000 my vertical shows correctly (if anything, a bit high; Strava adjusts it down). I donāt track distance in alpine skiing (I find irrelevant), only vertical (descent).
