Brightness - Low, Medium and High
-
I seem there is no change in the brightness when I change it in settings. Not even when using power saving mode. In the night the screen is blinding.
There is maybe a tiny (really!) change when going from High to Low, but there is no difference in experience.
Hope there will be a quick fix! I thought I wouldn’t mind the AMOLED, but now I do ;-).

Trying to bump this issue. It’s not fixed yet, although I found a small work around
I use ‘raise to wake - display only’, so the AOD-version is on when I raise the watch. That’s less blinding at night.
Is there anyone who experience only a slight difference between the brigthness?

@Horizontal_2 I had a race2 and I found absolutely no differences in the brightness settings. No matter I I used low, medium or high.
 -
Yes, the brightness setting is funny. Now on Vertical 2, even on previous Race 1…
 -
The only difference is when złów/med/,high is when you turn on/off screen flashlight, later not a big difference.
 -
Also on the Race S its very hard to see a difference. Would love to have a real Low setting for indoor/night and a real High setting for sunny days. Or just a wider range to adapt for the light sensor…
 -
@VoiGAS yes please. This would make a huge difference in the user experience

Thanks! Now I know it’s just a hiccup on Suunto’s side. Hope they’ll fix this. Wouldn’t seem to be too hard to do.

(Do they read this forum?)
 -
@Horizontal_2 not officially. Some people that read the forum work at Suunto, some are beta testers. So some feedback trickles to Suunto…
