Sound/Tones settings on Vertical 2
-
Hello,
This is probably a problem between the chair and keyboard (me being stupid) but I can’t seem to find a settings that I used on my Vertical 1. I would like to have the following sound/tones settings:
- no sound anywhere apart from manually set Alarm Clock.
When I set Tones off in Control Panel > Settings > General, Alarm tones are off but all other alarms (e.g. starting activity, stopping activity, lapping activity, storm alarm) are still making sound. I want the exact opposite but I can’t find the sound/tones settings anywhere that would do this. I can’t remember how I managed this on SV1 because I did it right from the start and it carried through all the software updates.
Thank you for any help on this, I even checked the manual but without any success

@jakubdr strange. Few people like me would like to have your bug
.
Therorically, deactivating tones for all in the general menu, should deactivate in activities as well.
Did you soft reset once your watch to be sure just not something “blocked” (I don’t know how to say that for gear It
) -
@Mff73 Haha, yeah, I tried it but soft reset did not help

@jakubdr I turned tones off and they do not with on activities so can’t help but think it isn’t how it is set up. On the V2.

@jakubdr can you tell us your exact settings in the tones menu for:
tones:

Exactly, that’s what I want
No sounds except during activity. But that doesn’t seem to work. -

.Ha! Was going to post about this feature as I also would like to have sounds and/or vibration on activities (start, stop, lap etc) but no sounds or vibrations from smartphone notifications. And vibration from alarm clock. So a new toggle to mute smartphone notifications would do this for me. I still want to see them on the screen though
