How can I customize the names of the “Other 1” and “Other 2” sports types in the Suunto app?

you can’t. the purpose is exactly to have 2 non specific types to be used if needed. -
By the way, an old idea was (if I remember well) to let users be able to rename for themselves (so attached to one’s account) theses other1, other2,…
Suunto would kept them as otherx type, internally , but with a specific user naming.
