      Hi,

I’ve had a Suunto Race for about six month and recently I faced an issue with the charging cable:
when I connect the charger, the watch doesn’t start charging easily, I have to rotate millimetrically the charger to match the metallic contact on the watch with the ones on the charger. It seems like a contact issue.
Someone has encountere this problem yet?

I have the same issue with the watch. I think its a know thing that suunto has troubles with their charging cables (ever since) they changend the system in the new race 2 and it should get better, but with the race 1 with have to stick with that rotating and trying 😞

          Yes, the Suunto charging wiggle.
I’ve wondered if it is worth trying to solder a larger contact patch onto the charger terminals to raise it up?

@sroggerini I had the same issue. So I’ve created a docking station for my charger, which holds the watch at the correct position: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7108194
If you know somebody with a 3d printer, this should help.

My only tip is to slowly lower the watch down to the charger and let the magnets align themselves and “jump” to the watch. And then don’t touch. I have never had an issue with the watch not charging using that method.
