Outback Adventure (Vertical 2) watchface is public

I quite like it on my Vertical 1. But it’s a shame that I can’t see the date and altitude at the same time. The battery information is useless to me, and it would be good if I could set other information instead.
-
@Tieutieu alphabetical order, you should find it in the Suunto plus store.
-
Quite a nice watchface, but as usual, very few customization options.

I agree about the fact that only 2 complications are customizable
Moreover, the WF (which looks nice) is sadly messed up by the long name of the meteo location (nobody checks these details before releasing a new wf?)

@isazi Hi, I appreciate the watchface update for other Suunto watch models. However, Ithink that the V2 watchface available as “Outback Adventure” for the Suunto Ocean is having some bugs:
- Instead of a white arrow on the default temperature arch below, the temperature is indicated by a black x on turquoise background.
- The default arch below doesn’t allow any customizing at all.
- The default arch on top, with sunset info, doesn’t exist at all (not visible/empty space) and can therefore not be be customized.
- The only window that can be customized is the default day/date window.
My question Is this by design, or is the V2 watchface implementation buggy on the Ocean?

@M-O Ocean firmware is older than the other watches, maybe that’s the issue. Cannot help testing because my Ocean has a newer firmware.

@runomatic
What I’m talking about is usability.
Of course, it has its drawbacks compared to AMOLED. For example, the battery status isn’t displayed in colors.
But I wish it could be changed at the bottom like the top.
I made the top part step and caller ID. It changes with a single click, and a long click takes you to the widget.
But the weather is fixed at the bottom. For example, there could be a barometer and altitude here. A long click doesn’t take you to the weather widget.
Suunto always misses something -
@safari how can you display caller id?
-
@isazi Thanks for your quick reply. Could you please provide any info/timeline, if available, when the Ocean will get a firmware update in order to enable the full functionality of this watchface on the Ocean. The Ocean in general needs some love and attention as well.
Cheers

Yes, people do check. Sorry, I don’t like this kind of wrong assumptions.

@Egika
I don’t understand this.
Could this be due to translation? -
-
@safari phone keyboard autocorrection is my bet
-
@M-O I can’t, I only know that firmware for the Ocean is being developed

It’s possible. We may encounter translation errors
I shared a video.

I like the min/max temp with weather and location, but it would be nice if this could be customised too.

This is one of the best watch faces Suunto has made. Are there plans to make it available on the Run as well?
-
Best watchface by a long stretch, well done Suunto! We need more of these with the more modern fonts and more complications.
One request would be UV Index data. It would be so useful and helpful, especially in countries like Australia or New Zealand! I always have to check the UV Index before my runs so I don’t burn to a crisp!

Sorry Egika, don’t meant to be unkind, but the fact that the name of meteo locations can be very long, should be known by Suunto, so I wonder why a new WF has such a graphical issue

WF is broken on Ocean. Just like WF Race 2. Sad.
