Since the latest software update, I’ve been having problems with the Bluetooth connection to my Stryd pod.

I can only connect if I make the watch forget the pod and then reinstall it.

Yesterday I replaced my old Wahoo heart rate strap with a Suunto Smart, and that only made things worse: now I can’t maintain a connection to both the strap and the pod at the same time.

      Has anyone experienced something similar?

@Morten-Eisensee,Yes, I’m experiencing the same issue with my Stryd pod. At the connection page on the watch the POD disappeard twice already. All that remains are two blank buttons which I can select, but return immediatly to the previous screen. I can’t remove the blank connections.

I’ve also had super flaky Bluetooth connections with my Stryd and Polar H10 as well as the app on my phone. Sometimes the Stryd and H10 connect immediately when I start a run. Other times I have to delete them and re-pair. Sometimes one connects and the other doesn’t. Getting frustrated.

My Race is on version 2.44.46. What is your version?

@snijkoek for me the pod does not show up in the pre start screen, even if I just paired. However it records the workout but during the workout I get very frequent vibrations (once every 10-20 seconds) which is frustrating. If I run without the pod, no vibrations.

I already unpaired and repaired… it was working fine in Jun/July, I did not use it in Aug… I guess the issue was introduced with after latest update.

Anyone with same issue? How did you solve?

Probably doesn’t help that much when I say that my Stryd just works fine (2.44.46 firmware).

After the update my Stryd was the first thing I paired and afterward my HRM.
It just works, as soon as I select the sport, the Stryd as well as the HRM connect and stay connected.
In the meantime I also paired an Polar OH1 (for hiking) which also connects without issues.

Dunno if that’s a point but my Stryd is a first-generation Stryd foot-pod (e.g. no wind-sensor) and I don’t have my smart-phone with me. E.g. no connection to the smartphone while running.

Edit: And I don’t use the Stryd SuuntoApp (as it doesn’t seem to work with my old Stryd).

I can understand your frustration, that would be a “killer” for me.

@Markus-Gietzen I have the nextgen but it used to work perfectly.

                My Setup:

                • SV FW 2.44.46 (right now updating to 2.44.52…)
                • Stryd NextGen <== this seems to introduce the vibrations
                • Polar H9
                • Suunto Wing (1)
                • Pixel 8 playing music on Spotify
