Suunto Apps --> Can't use them with S9 or S3??

Hello everyone
I am trying to create/install apps in my new Suunto S9 Baro but it was impossible.I found this information buried in Suunto help:
“Currently Suunto Apps are compatible only with Suunto Ambit and Suunto Traverse watches.”When and how I will be able to install/create apps for S9?

AFAIK you cannot use apps with anything newer than ambit 3 (spartan and S9, S3) -
Currently the apps are not compatible with Spartans, and AFAIK there is no prediction for this to happen
