      That said, I am really disappointed, both for this thing and for others, one above all the lack - incomprehensible - of the test for the anaerobic threshold. I am not saying that I bought the Run only for this (mistakenly thinking that it was present), but at this point, between the inadequacy of the app and the shortcomings of the watch

      I see, but all in all I don’t see anything that prevents me from enjoying the watch. Bugs are bugs and sooner or later they get fixed. As for the lack of features, I always buy things for what they have on day one to avoid disappointments, and Suunto always puts a few gifts in the bag sooner or later anyway 😊

        @6iovanni

        I just saw that the anaerobic threshold is calculated automatically based on training and obviously, anthropometric data and it is in the “progress” widget. It’s not exactly what I thought, but better than nothing.
        Also Suunto support answered me and they told me that they are working on other things, including the store for the watch faces. Let’s not despair 🙂

          Hi @ShinJCD I took some time last night to dig a little more and confirmed what you see, which is that the battery status goes from unlimited to optimized after a while (and that triggers the warning). I honestly never noticed if the battery status changed. That said, I continue to have no synchronization issues even with battery optimization. This is probably something that the devs need to look into. Can someone please forward this weird behaviour to them? Thanks.

          Thanks for your availability, for now as I said, I have disabled the notification regarding the synchronization issue, waiting for a future update that can solve the problem. I also thought about doing a reset of my pixel, but honestly it would be too much of a hassle…

            The heart rate broadcasting limitation is probably the biggest miss for me. I used to sync my HR data with my treadmill app using my old watch, and not being able to do that anymore is kind of a dealbreaker for indoor training.

              I totally agree. I used to use my previous smartwatch with Fitshow and it was extremely useful to be able to see my heart rate directly on my phone display without having to check my watch every time… let’s hope for a future update.

              Returning instead to the problem I had previously posed (the one related to the issue of disabling the battery optimization of my pixel), Suunto support responded to me, both giving me some suggestions (which, unfortunately, were of no use) and asking me, lastly, for a short video where you can see how the system automatically restores the “allow background use” function from “without limitations” to “optimized”. I have not received any more response on this matter. We’ll see.

              Instead, I would like to ask for information to understand if it happens to you too. I find a discrepancy between the values of the “recovery” item displayed on the app and on the watch. For example, this morning the watch shows me a good 89%, while the app gives me just 51%… the strange thing is that the other items, such as HRV, are identical 🤔

                    I am seeing the same issue on my Pixel 9A, the battery optimization toggle keeps getting flipped.

                    My suspicion is that the Suunto apple is toggling it incorrectly. I think it has control to do is, as I remember giving it the permission.

                      I reported this issue to Suunto support, and after a couple of replies (and no resolution), they stopped responding.

                      I’ll take this opportunity to make a couple of observations (already mentioned in another thread): the GPS tracking is truly terrible, often completely off-track, and even with improbable cuts. Six months after purchasing it, they still haven’t managed to fix this bug, but they haven’t even managed to make other watch faces available. Another small thing they could (should) have fixed is the ability to lower the minimum screen timeout to 5 seconds instead of 10… what’s the point of having the display on for ten seconds after checking the time? So, do I regret the purchase? Quite a bit. If I had to do it again, I’d definitely get the Garmin 165.

                        Nothing terrible so far, quite the contrary…
