(Resolved) Sync issue after 2.40.44 – Suunto Vertical + iOS - (Server Issue)
-
I also had sync problems today, S9PP new firmware. I thought it was an APP issue so I wrote there, but could also be the new hot fix firmware.
-
@dombo So do you have the same problems with the previous firmware? Have you updated the iOS app? There was also a new update today.
-
@mareeeeeel I was on testflight version and then I tried also on appstore version. both the same
-
@mareeeeeel now I try previous build via testflight and it is still the same. I assume our “broken” activities are already on the servers, so re-uploading will not work
-
final update: our activities are on suunto servers - you can see them when you log to https://www.sports-tracker.com/
I have tried to delete activity, install older build and re-connect watch and re-upload… and still the same
so the issue is that suunto is not able to process this activity
warning: DO NOT DELETE ACTIVITY FROM APP/SPORTSTRACKER IF YOU HAVE REINSTALLED YOUR WATCH FW MEANWHILE OTHERWISE YOU LOST YOUR ACTIVITY!!!
-
I have the same issue. Still uploading on suunto app. New FW on my Race since yesterday. Closed my iPhone and updated the app. Doesn’t resolve anything. It worked with my yesterday activity… Seems to be an app problem ??
-
I would rather think it’s a « server » issue. I’m on latest fw on both my SRs and SV. So is my wife on her S9pp and other friends on Sv, Sr and SRs.
I’m on IOS latest beta, my wife means my friends are on current public iOS or android version of SA
Yesterday everybody synchronised without any pb. Today only one of my friend has synchronisation issue with is Sv. All others have no issue
Guess it will be back to normal soon -
Same issue.
Running my half marathon on Sunday and considering reverting back to my Apple Watch for tracking and upload purposes. Disappointed to say the least.
-
@bruno.tanqueray I think a server issue so nothing wrong with the watch. I have reported the issue. You will not lose activities.
-
Now my activity has been uploaded. I didn’t do anything; it solved itself. It was probably a server problem.
-
Everything is working again.
It’s just a pity we didn’t receive any alert about this Suunto’s server issue.
Excellent moves to everybody -
Just to notice : since I went to an iPhone 16 that makes larger pictures, I wonder if there is some kind of « maximum size and/or resolution » of picture we can upload to SA.
I very often can’t upload pictures unless I resize them
