Footpod Compatibility List

@ChunkNorris Just buy Stryd. It is the best.
-
@ChunkNorris Suunto watches, since the ambit 3 are only Bluetooth compatible, ANT+ devices won’t work with them.
-
@Marius-Jacobsen-Eggerud I own one since years ago… but how do you calibrate it to improve the results?
-
@suzzlo Mine was spot-on out the box, but I am sure you find information on the Stryd webpage
-
@ChunkNorris basically any BLE-capable Foot Pod should work. But same as others above I personally have experience only with Stryd. It’s rather expensive, but you probably can get a used previous generation Stryd and it will be good enough for treadmill
-
I have good experience with the Adidas micoach foot pod
-
@Egika Really? I thought the Micoach is only ANT+?
-
I’ve had previous experience of what is now the zwift footpod (before they purchased the company that originally made it). It’s bluetooth so should work and it’s cheaper than the Stryd. However, I upgraded to a stryd and the improvement in accuracy was noticeable so personally I’d just go looking on eBay or similar for anyone selling one. I have the previous gen with the air power adjustment but if you are using it indoors then even the gen before that is still great
-
I ordered the Adidas mycoach for 10USD. It says it’s Bluetooth so a much cheaper option than the stryd. I’ll post back and let you know if it works.
Thanks for the responses.

yes. Really.
I have a BT one and it has been working like a charm for years.
Just I am not sure if it is available new or maybe discontinued… -
@Egika Interesting, there seem to be two types of them, one BT and one ANT+. I have the ANT+ unfortunatly
