Another weird Wifi Issue.. No network shown

I’m a user of a Suunto Race for over a year now. Fortunately no issues so far. I’ve been able to do everything I wanted so far with it.
Today, I got a surprise as I wanted to download a new map for my new trip during easter break. As usual, I activated the wifi on my watch (usually is disabled to save some battery) but, this time, the watch didn’t connect to my home router.
My surprise came when I deleted the existing connection and verified that the watch doesnt find ANY WIRELESS NETWORK.Tried hard & soft reset, even reinstalling the suunto app. But, as you can see, the watch doesn’t show anything (belive me theree are some strong 2.4 Ghz networks around, no weird SSIDs).
Quite frustrating as, as said, it was working flawless for me, even with the latest update (2.40.38).
Searching in the forum I haven’t found anyone having this issue before.
