      @Vemee Custom sport modes should not be deleted. Mine were not in the last update.

        @Brad_Olwin I understand. And agree šŸ™‚

        Did you also have the custom sportsmode as your most recently used sportmode = the one that shows up when you press the top button?

          @Vemee All my sport modes are custom and they are all present after firmware updates. Which sport mode are you using? It could be sport mode related.

          In the past, my snowboard profiles got deleted after every update. The watch would crash if you tried to select it and the Suunto app gave the famous ā€œoops…something went wrongā€ warning if I tried to modify it.
          In the end Suunto fixed this issue for the snowboarding profile and now my settings remain after the firmware updates

            @Vemee
            I personally have also one sport mode deleted at each update. Basically each time the least used = the last in the watch short list.
            I know have like a tip (waiting for fixing) before updating a new FW, I created few fake modes, some I don’t care if they are deleted, and I am selecting then, successively all the modes in the inverse order I would like them to be deleted, in case.
            Last time, I did that, and one mode I don’t care was deleted, but… I don’t care šŸ˜‹.

            Hey, just my own tip šŸ˜‰/workaround, this is surely investigated by Suunto.

              I think @surfboomerang could be correct. Your sport mode may have been compromised. Creating a new one would solve that. Sometimes they get messed up. More information on the sport mode and what you have set could help resolve or figure out if you found an unusual bug.

                @Brad_Olwin Unfortunately the snowboard profile I was talking about was removed several times. That didn’t solve the issue. It was corrupt again after the next update.
                In the end, it was solved by Suunto as far as I know.

                  I’m wondering if perhaps there is something unusual about the custom sport mode that is causing an issue, seems like the only example I know of.

                    Thanks for reply. I use a running sports profile. Just one screen + mapp. Only basics, nothing extra.

                      @Brad_Olwin: I use the running sports mode, so should be one of the most used, if not the most used. But as indicated by other replies above (@Mff73) I am not alone. So let’s hope Suunto can fix it soon šŸ™‚

                        @Mff73 This is what I do as well. Issue is pretty easy to reproduce, and I have been dealing with it for a couple of years now. Fortunately, updates are not too often…

                        I would expect the fix is easy (as a software developer we know reproducibility is the key). Anyways it’s more of a matter of the development team becoming aware of the issue and having the time to investigate.
