Clarification regarding raise-to-wake behavior

Hi - updated to latest firmware 2.39.44 after owning the watch for 1 day - so unsure if this is how it is supposed to work.
Raise to wake shows me full watch face - but after some time of inactivity - raise to wake will show only time, without complications.
Is this how it is supposed to work?
I tried both settings in “Display” for raise-to-wake as display only or full Full wake mode - but I see no difference: after some inactivity, raise to wake brings just the bare analog or digital time.

@leonidas Yes, the full display only stays on for 7-8 seconds and this is not configurable. This behavior has been reported before, with requests to make it configurable.

that’s strange:
in Full wake mode, the the Rise-to-wake turns the watch on (colorful watchface with complications) and it’s ready to be used,
in Display Only mode, the rise-to-wake just shows the time (black&white, no complications), then you need tu push a button in order to use all the other watch functions -
Hi thanks - are you 100% sure about this? It does read that way in menus but its not how it works based on mine and other commenter experience.
If so - which FW are you on?
