I am personally understanding both .
My personal thought : HW will evoluate and definitively ‘old’ HW won’t be capable one day to fit with some new ones extra capabilities / features.

Yes Q1 update is branched

You mean that Q1 update is under test and release soon ?
Any news about result if live tracking feature survey made some months ago ?
