Altitude Stays at 0

When I review any of my Training events, everything is being updated but Ascent, Ascent Duration, Descent, and Descent Duration which all show 0 and 00:00:00 respectively.
Suunto 3 Fitness Copper
Some help in correcting this would be greatly appreciated. I am using a Sony Xperia Premium running Android version 8.0.0

Just got off the phone with support and was told that the Altitude reading is not ported to the Suunto App. The Suunto 3 Fitness has no altitude measurement capability or GPS, but even though the 2D GPS data is ported through to the Suunto App, the 3rd dimension, Altitude, is not.
I have requested that this be an added feature in a future update.

Altitude=0 info is SA bug, so we all expect to be corrected in next releases. (this is perhaps most commented bug in this forum)

Are you using the S3F ? That feature is not there yet even on the watch.

The missing altitude values ​​are - besides the very unreliable sleep tracking - the second serious lack of the otherwise very nice S2F. Until then, there should be PLEASE an appropriate hint in the APP (for example, "No values ​​for S3F at this time“) and you should no longer see incorrect data values ​​(“0”)!!!
