Vertical Week watchface

Wow looks great in the Vertical
good Job suunto
-
Here’s it on the Suunto Race:
And with AOD
-
Beautiful watchface! When the complication can be set, it will be perfect!
Reminds me that it would be nice to have a watchface like the one on the Suunto 7. The background with the temperature map was great. Sorry for the OT.
-
@AntoniusGaius it is also available for S9PP and it looks very nice!
-
Here on the 9PP - @AntoniusGaius you find it in the Suunto Plus Store
-
A beautifully designed watchface.
All the details work well together. -

Very nice watchface, good job !! I hope it will be available as well after vertical week with possibility to change upper right complication to another thing that vertical week.
That would be really cool.
-
Very nice, thanks! Will the elevation gain reset every week? So that we can use it to track our “weekly elevation gain”?

That should be the case. For me, it’s exactly the altitude meters that STRAVA has also shown me for this week so far.

Yes, it should be like this. You can see your vertical gain also in the Suunto App.
-
I love this watchface! Great job Suunto. Race has such a great display. It deserves beautiful watchfaces like this one. More like this one please, just let us change the complications.
-
3596m elevation this week but 0 displayed in this beautiful new watchface ! Anyone else in the same case ? (I’m using beta iOS, nice update today ; timeline has been modernized !
)
-
@Ecki-D Thanks I will search for it.
-
@Tieutieu
mmmh … the vertical week watch face … let me guess, it tracks just that week -
The total ascent of this week is shown on Vertical week watch face. Immediately after the end of today’s activity it was updated, before the sync to Suunto app.

It will only record vertical in the logbook and needs to be installed to get the data I believe. That is how mine behaved in testing. No pulling data from the cloud.

There are hints the watch face will continue after VW so…one would expect a change or two.

@Brad_Olwin indeed you’re right ! 0 D+ on my SRs that I’ve been using only for sleep, but it works on my SV…
But I already mentioned that ski resort sport mode counts elevation…I correct manually in SA to 0 in every ski resort activity, but as the watchface shows what’s in logbook…my week that should show 3596m elevation brings me to…Shazam !!I’m Kilian Jornet !!
(So I guess vertical week will be not very accurate if ski resort is counted!
)
[off topic to be complete about ski resort sport mode : it counts both ski lift elevation AND distance, which is totally no sens ; I correct in SA to put total distance of activity to total downhill distance of activity, and set D+ to 0. Otherwise all summaries are wrong. This sport mode should only count downhill distance and D- automatically ]
